These apparently are the lyrics for the rendering by a Finish quartet known as Loituma of a traditional Finnish song called Levan Polkka in which the original words are replaced, accoring to the following Wikipedia article, by nonsense words.

These apparently are the lyrics for the rendering by a Finish quartet known as Loituma of a traditional Finnish song called Levan Polkka in which the original words are replaced, accoring to the following Wikipedia article, by nonsense words.
The Loituma version of the song includes an intermezzo of phonetically inspired gibberish containing only a few Finnish words; it is not part of the original song written by Eino Kettunen. The content of the intermezzo varies from one performance to another and is not listed on most lyrics. It is similar to scat in jazz. ▲ Collapse

Yes, just the same. I asked, because I had read somewhere online it was Finnish, but I was not convinced as spelling was not very typical of the Nordic countries...
