Hundreds of channels have been opened for relief efforts after the Haiti earthquake. Let me add one more that is of particular importance for a group of translators here: that of the French humanitarian NGO Solidarités.

The Solidarités team has been providing regular linguistic aid to this mid-size NGO for 2.5 years now. For more information on Solidarités, see their charter and mission statement.

(Note: our translation team does not derive any direct benefits from your supporting Solidarités' mission in Haiti. Since over 85% of their annual budget reaches aid recipients directly, you may find this channel particularly efficient.)
