I'm writing about cultural issues in translating advertising material, using examples centred specifically on advertising targeted at the female market. To be frank, stereotypes are OK - I've already found a Milka ad and a clothing one. I need a few more though, so the question is have you seen any adverts that fit this bill?
So please, have a break, watch some TV, and tell me what you see!
If you search around, you'll probably find other ads for these brands that could be interesting.
Can't think of any other brands right now, but ads for shampoo, washing detergent, cleaning products, children's food and similar products are usually geared towards the female audience.
HTH,
Johannes
BTW, say hi to Margaret, Vassilis, Karen and all the rest of the UniS staff ... I graduated in 2005. ▲ Collapse

Cheers Johannes! Those were along the right lines. I'll keep looking around too - I'm only a couple short now...
I will pass on the message to the UniS team!
