Off topic: Know any bookstores in Spain or Portugal that can ship to the US? Thread poster: Claudia Alvis

Does anybody know of any reputable bookstore that can ship to the US? I want to get José Saramago's new book, which will be release tomorrow, but I've only found some minor Yahoo-based stores, and the shipping is outrageous. I prefer to get the Portuguese version, but if that's not possible, I could get the Spanish translation. Claudia | | | Harald Roald Spain Local time: 13:05 English to Norwegian + ...

The book Caim, in Portuguese will be released tomorrow. It costs 15,21 eur and shipping costs to the US are 35 eur in FNAC. I will be happy to buy you one and ship it to you by mail. I have to confirm in the post office but I believe it will be around 17,50 eur for shipping costs. You can write to me privately if you wish to go ahead. Best

Same with me for the Spanish version. I'll be pleased to buy a copy in my local shop and mail it to you by regular mail from Spain. Just email me via Proz if you go this way! | |

Thank you for all your recommendations, specially to Ligia and Tomas for your offers. I checked some of those stores and the cheapest shipping is 35.00 euros! And some bookstores won't show the shipping charges after the book is paid for. I'll take Ligia's offer. My Portuguese is not perfect but I'd rather read the book in the original Portuguese, thanks's Tomás! Ligia, thank you so much. I'll email you now. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Know any bookstores in Spain or Portugal that can ship to the US?
