IT Specialist
French, English -> Dutch

Having worked in IT for 13 years, doing all sorts of things, I generally add this to my signature..
But it depends on the client, and the job.
If it's for something like tourism, "IT specialist" does not make an impression, but if they do not choose me, maybe they remember the IT part, next time they need an IT specialist.

But you should really only put 1 field in there I think

Actually, It is a good point of discussion. Once I heard a rule in translation and I really consider it my rule in translation profession. “EVRYTHING is translatable”. Yes every translator should be able to carry out whatever type of material he may encounter. Nevertheless, specialization is more professional attitude. Meaning that it is really important for a translator to be specialized in certain type of translation whether written, simultaneous, or consecutive ----etc and in certain domain legal, economic, financial, literal, IT ..etc. this doesn’t mean that a specialized translator is unable to carry out translation beyond his specialization yet it means that he harness the techniques of this domain, the terms used, most common grammatical structure, style of translation, …etc. it also means that such specialized translator can better translate any materials in this field more than any unspecialized translator.
To finalize, specialization means professionalism. But a socialized translator and clients as well should be aware of what professionalism means.

Personally speaking, I once wanted to be legal translator but career seems to be taking me to somewhere else 
