Does my pic make me look "too young?" Thread poster: David Jessop

Yes, No 2. is good | Sep 14, 2009 |
The second picture is very good, I think. When you crop it, remember the max size is 200x320 pixels. I think that picture lends itself to cropping into a rectangle of that size very well. Your face should probably be about 2/3 of the picture's total height. (Hard to explain it here, without drawing...) Katalin

Thanks to everyone and especially Rebekka for the tips. As you can see already, I have made changes and gone with #2. Much appreciated!!! David
you look like a dead ringer for a younger Jason Donovan, so no complaints here Seriously, far better picture.

Given your pic, you don't appear too much older yourself. I really like your pic, BTW. It's very appropriate to your online identity! Best, David Joanna Wachowiak-Finlaison wrote: David Jessop wrote: I had to Wikipedia him but thanks I think . You are young...
Simple solution David | Sep 14, 2009 |
Photoshop a bald patch in and give yourself a big grey beard if you want!

Looking younger than you are | Sep 14, 2009 |
Hi there David! Well, at least it's just your *picture* everyone is commenting on! If I am to meet a client they kind of look at me and say something like "Hey, are you even allowed to drive a CAR?" Honestly, you're lucky there. I have to say, however, that you DO look young - fresh and ready to tackle anything that comes along. So no real complaints there. I like your current profile pic - best choice of the three posted. ... See more Hi there David! Well, at least it's just your *picture* everyone is commenting on! And another thing - I tend to work with people I take to and it doesn't matter how old or young they're looking. How would I know whether it's a new photo anyway? A profile without blunt spelling and grammar mistakes is what I go for most. Well, my 2 cents on that. ▲ Collapse

I too disagree about pic number 2. I vote for number 1; cropped. You look handsome and mature. Yeah, smiling makes you look younger.
