I came across the following quotation: "this is the earth you see, silent....".

Does someone know where it comes from? It might be a Science Fi book or film....

Thanks!

Christine

Movie Database Feb 14, 2006

Well, I don't know the quotation, but this may help:

http://imdb.com/

It's the Internet Movie Database (owned by Amazon). If you need to search for information on any film (characters, quotes, director, producer, casting, etc.), you just select the type of data you're looking for and that's it.

Hope that helps

I'm about 95% sure... Feb 14, 2006

...it's from one of my top five fave films "A Matter of Life and Death" - I'll just go and run the video...

Hard to believe but I can't find my tape! I think the quote is from the opening sequence just before we're introduced to the blazing bomber. Anyone confirm that?

Thanks a lot Daniel!

if by any chance you know (or someone knows) what's the next sentence after this one, it would just be perfect! One of my friends uses the sentence at the bottom of his e-mails and I would just like to impress/surprise him with finding the next sentence.

Chris
