If there's no problem about the language I would suggest "The little sweep", a musical play for children written by E. Crozier (libretto) and B. Britten (music) in 1949. It's the story of a boy forced to work as chimney sweeper in the Victorian age and of a group of children who succeed in rescuing him from his cruel master.
