Uldis has informed me of the payment issues among ProZ.com members and would-be members based in Latvia. In order to make the process of paying for ProZ.com membership more convenient in Latvia, he has kindly offered to accept payments in local currency and to pass said fees along to us.

Hello all,

Uldis has informed me of the payment issues among ProZ.com members and would-be members based in Latvia. In order to make the process of paying for ProZ.com membership more convenient in Latvia, he has kindly offered to accept payments in local currency and to pass said fees along to us.

Therefore, in order to take advantage of the current campaign and to avoid any add-on charges or transaction fees, please make payment arrangements directly with Uldis. The price of a new membership is Ls 70, and the price of a renewal is Ls 60.

The campaign ends Thursday and the drawing for the trip will be Friday, so arrange with Uldis before then for a chance to win. We can accept payments after the end of the sale--in Latvia--until next week, and the extended membership and waived transaction fees will still apply. But the drawing will be done Friday.
