The video found here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KHq094SeWU is completely out of date. It instructs you to go to www.code.google.com but that page has been terminated by Google. I think the maker of the video should have taken it off from youtube.

Then, I found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puDNfWfILl4, following which I can get a API key and the "credential" but I have found no place for me to fill in my credit card information. It went without saying that the Google Translate API key didn't work on my Wordfast Pro.

Does any one of you have a straight forward way of getting Google Translate API?

I don't understand why Google has made it beyond the understanding of many people for a paid service.

Google Developers Console / Google Wallet Dec 9, 2015

All API activity is managed through the Google Developers Console
Billing for all Google services is managed through Google Wallet.
Googling either of those should get you to the appropriate links.

Hardly surprising, since it was made four years ago.

I’m the one who made it and I’m not going to take it (or any other video I made) off from YouTube. If you are not happy about it, just make your own.

Just google it and you will find Google’s own instructions:

All you need is some basic googling skills...

Straightforward is Google, not YouTube, ProZ or what have you.

Enter this: google translate api. Then click the very first hit, then click "pricing".
