Hello,

It has been 2 years now since the last post. So how did things turn out for you? Did you go to college or obtain a certificate? I am in the very same situation now in which you were 2 years ago.

I didn't do either one of those as most translators say you don't need a diploma to be a successful freelance translator if you have the skills and everything else that goes with the business, so I decided to invest all the time I can on reading the forums (mostly here at ProZ). I have read so many articles (here on ProZ as well) related to our profession and business. I still read all kinds of topics just about everyday on here, and every now and then, I come back with new questions. I plan to start next year sometime due to having a full-time job that I can't leave until then.
