How to change the timing format

Hi everybody,

Does anybody know how to batch-replace the timing from the "00:00:48,660" format to just "00:00:48"?

The timing was exported from Aegisub in this format, but I need to paste it in the simple format into the XLS worksheet provided by the client.

I think you need a regular expression.

\d means any number

( ) means "name what is inside the brackets group 1"

$1 means "insert group 1"

So,

Find: (\d\d:\d\d:\d\d),\d\d\d

Replace: $1

I haven't tested this but I think it should work

Sorry, it seems Excel doesnt support regular expressions.
It will work in Google Sheets or Trados.

and pasted into Excel - it worked like a charm.
