An outstanding dictionary (excellent context information, sample phrases, etc.) and reasonably priced (around EUR 75). One of my favourite dictionaries bar none.
Available in NL>EN and EN_NL, also on CD-ROM (bilingual, approx EUR 150)

Ik gebruik dit woordenboek veel; er is niet veel dat er niet in is. Dit woordenboek was ook al aanbevolen door iemand anders. Ik heb het boek, niet de on-line versie, dus weet ik daar niet veel van.
Als referentie/naslagwerk gebruik ik ook Introduction to Dutch Law. Jeroen Chorus, Piet-Hein Gerver, Ewoud Hondius, Alis Koekkoek, ed., Uitgever Kluwer

Ik heb met belangstelling jullie post gelezen, vooral de CDRom trekt me erg aan en het is ongeveer dezelfde prijs als een grote vanDale.
Vinden jullie het beter dan Jurlex? (bovendien moet je daar steeds updates van aanschaffen heb ik begrepen.
Ik vind de E-N / N-E grote vanDale juridisch beneden de maat (soms echt verkeerde vertalingen) i.t.t. bijvoorbeeld de Spaanse die daarin veel beter is (maar dat helpt natuurlijk niet als je Engels vertaalt...).

Als jurist 'hobby' ik veel met het opzoeken van literatuur op internet, wetgeving in twee (Europese) talen etc. maar dat is erg tijdrovend - een woordenboek is misschien niet zo'n gek idee .

AFAIK, these are one and the same, for Anjo's info.......
I agree, I use the Jurlex CD Rom constantly, couldn't do without it although having said that, sometimes it must be taken with an enormous grain of salt. I have LeDocte and a couple of other less extensive legal dictionaries, but must admit, I rarely, if ever, use them. An excellent investment that will pay for itself in no time.

Wat daar nou weer achter zit, die twee namen voor hetzelfde boekje? Ga voor het 'origineel' nadat ik mijn gecrashte computer naar de dokter heb gebracht (dit is laptop II) enzo.
