Hi all,

Trados has a feature that automaticall replaces the decimal and thousands separator according to the target language settings.

Using that, the numbers in a text are more or less pre-translated and the translator doesn't have to spend time altering these.

By default, segment containing numbers only are therefore not counted in Trados.

Now I wonder if Deja Vu has any equivalent function. Can the decimal separator be set automatically? And

Unlike Trados, DVX does count numbers Dec 5, 2006

Decimal conversions can be (de-)activated in this checkbox:
Menu/Tools/Options/General/Conversions/Allow decimal conversions

DVX does not skip segments containing numbers only, but you can select whether it will ignore them in the terminology check via this checkbox:
Menu/Tools/Options/General/Terminology Checks/Also check numerals
