Polish characters in Deja Vu

Hi,
when trying Deja Vu 3.018 I discovered that all Polish characters can be entered correctly in the translation window except for "ê" (e with a coma below). I can paste "ê" to the window, use autocorection which inserts "ê", but I cannot enter it with a typical shortcut Ctrl+Alt+e (which is right Alt+e).
Does anybody have any idea what may have caused it? Is it only any setting or does it interfere with any shortcut?

Piotr
