Re-importing external view created with Deja Vu Professional

Hi,
when I try to re-import an external view file (RTF format) in the same project where I created it with Deja Vu Professional, the Merge External View Data dialog that appears is always empty.
I have Windows 8, Office 2010.
I have yet tried uselessly the following: - saving the RTF file (the external view file) in word 2003 before importing - following all the instructions available at this pag... See more

Have you selected to include the row ID in the external view you are creating? (it's the only way you can reimport anything to DVX really)

It was called Row ID in DVX but Segment ID in DVX2, anyway, the same thing.
Segment ID is essential, you can export into EV without them but you can not import back if they are missing.
From the Help file: It is imperative that you include the segment ID if you are planning to re-import the project (as you would after proofreading or editing), and instruct your proofreader not to change these.
