Hi everyone, I am experiencing a few problems with xliff files. A client sent me some .xlf files and I translated them using dvx2 in normal fashion with its built-in filter. However, the exported file, although still in .xlf, are rejected by client's Ektron CMS from which the source xliff files were originally generated. My questions are: (1) is there a special way to import .xlf files into a DVX2 project? (2) do I need to ask client for a schema file to cre... (3) any particular requirements when exporting DVX2 project? As well, when I opened a dvx-translated file in notepad, the first line shows: and through-out file, dvx2 seems to have added this attribute: Swordfish also indicates the dvx exported .xlf file is not a valid xliff file. I am asking Atril for support but in the mean time if anyone here has any suggestion, it will be greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance Ray

I ran source file through Swordfish xliff checker module and it says the following: Validating: C:\Users\X Ray\Desktop\xliff\originals\cont21474888690_ja-JP.xlf - XML file parsed. - XLIFF version: 1.2 * XLIFF namespace not declared. > XLIFF namespace declaration added. > Document reloaded. - Validating against Transitional XML Schema. - Checking content details. * Inv...
