SQL and blue underlined segments

I'm no expert at SQL and only use very simple statements in the translation table for my QA purposes. I have noticed that blue underlined segments are often included in filtered views where they shouldn't. For example, when I want to check for missing final periods/full stops like this:


source like '*.' and target_1045 not like '*.'

... blue underlined segments that end in a period/full stop are included anyway. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!

Accept multiple matches before doing your checks Jul 6, 2012

You're not doing anything wrong. However, blue underlined segments are "multiple matches" (if you right-click on them, you get other alternatives than the currently displayed one). Those alternatives are included in the text of the segment in the project database (which you apply your SQL filters on), so you may get unexpected results depending on the content of those alternatives. You can take a look into one of those segments in MS Access to see how that looks like if you are interested.
