Deja Vu, trados clean and unclean files

I have Deja Vu and I have been asked to provide a clean and unclean file (Trados).
What do they mean exactly and what can I do?

Send an export of the TM May 8, 2012

Hi Susanna,

your customer seems to work with the old-fashioned style: he/she needs the unclean file to add it to his/her TM via Trados 2007. So deliver him/her an export of your DV TM (in Trados WB format = .txt) and everything should be fine.
