hi, i am going to write a paper related to copywriting, but it is totally strange to me. is it a kind of translation? how can i get some information and some specific examples about it?

copywriter = someone who writes the words for advertisements

Sometimes the meaning is extended to "writing any kind of commercial texts" and even to writing texts in general. The latter is a mistake.
