谢谢BETTY啦，今天咱没好东西吃但至少有好东西看了。 那‘绿波廊酒楼’，咱八十年代虽住杭州可常有机会去。那时门面窗棂都还是漆成绿色的，什么时候改漆成红色的了？ 一看那网站，真是“红雨随心翻作浪”。

要说那译文嘛，还可以啦，请个市外办的小翻译弄一弄，希望能把“古色古香，具有浓郁的中国民族氛围”的情调也丝毫不漏地“翻过去”，等于逼他在绿波廊里掌勺烧出一桌象样的西餐来，这真是难为人了。 国内好的中译英肯定有，如果商家真正觉得外文版重要的话，化点钱，让当地的中文译者和在华的欧美人士联手一译一校，结果就大不一样啰。
不过他们如愿意花三美元一个字叫我译的话，我争取把他们的广告译得十分诱人，“温文尔雅”。 让克林顿看到后下次再来，而且带上莱温斯基小姐。这样他们也会觉得化点翻译费其实很值得噢。

Just imagine how they would translate 停车坐爱枫林晚 
... Way too literal, IMO. Something like stop in at, stop off at, stop over at would be a lot better.

Interrupt a journey for a short stay somewhere, as in When we drove through Massachusetts we stopped off for a few days at Cape Cod, or When you're in the area try to stop over and see our new house. Depending on the emphasis and interpretation of the original (-- those are their own original Chinese verses, aren't they?), you could even say break off from other activities, go out of one's way, make a special trip, pay a special visit, etc... But certainly not parking one's car somewhere

2、松鼠桂鱼 Fried Mandarin Fish with Sweet and Sour Sauce
3、蟹粉白玉 Braised Beancurd with Crab Meat

青山着意化为桥。廟當然是可以泊車，總統有INTERN陪同下可以，而且會關閉一切影音監控。這4道菜的翻譯如何？千方百計就是想把你留在壇裡。

大姐你就用電飯煲好了。把東菇與淹好的雞用鑊炒至6-7成，待飯水干前下料，飯好後再等10分鐘。GOOD LUCK！

从以前看 David, stone 等人的帖子略知一二, 我看咱们这种人平时吃饭反而比国内要简单多了. pk 是有陈太太精心照料, so he's in a different league. Plus he said himself he's almost a fixture in Boston's Chinatown, very well-known
