每次踏足郊野總感到幸福，多謝上天賜予細小的香港擁有多處美麗的山水。在香港260個島嶼中，面積最大的是大嶼山﹔隨著交通改善，大嶼山多條行山徑已成為行山熱點。
拾千石級 登最佳觀景台
時近中秋，但天氣仍炎熱，我們一家在中環碼頭乘搭渡輪往梅窩碼頭，走出了碼頭靠右走，不久便到了銀礦灣沙灘。令人奇怪的是偌大的沙灘卻沒有泳客，大概是水質不佳吧，難怪救生員可以打瞌睡。
我指著遠處的山頭，問小兒Mark可看見漫長的登山石級和山上小亭，Mark並沒有反應，反而是媽咪Betty皺眉了。沿海邊的水泥徑走，經過村屋，開始登山的石級，據說此段石級有1240級，就讓Mark一邊走一邊數吧﹗石級兩旁是矮小的灌木，如毛稔、山稔、油甘子、野牡丹等，此刻都結果了。登上山崗，可回望渡輪碼頭和內嵌的銀礦灣。
由於陽光猛烈，好不容易才上到小亭。藍天碧海，小島羅佈，海風輕拂，頓感心曠神怡，忘卻登山之苦。這裏是最佳觀景台，右方的芝麻灣、喜靈洲、周公島、坪洲、愉景灣高爾夫球場等明媚風光盡收眼底，遠處的南丫島、香港島、迪士尼樂園建築地盤也一覽無遺。
小休後開始下山，寬闊的道路令Mark奔跑起來，瞬間失去蹤影。很快便到了熙篤會聖母神樂院，神樂院建於1950年，是一所天主教隱修院，由於地理偏僻，與世隔絕，故訪遊者不多。神樂院較為人津津樂道的是其出品的十字牌鮮奶，惟牛欄於十多年前已遷往深圳。
神樂院 地理偏僻
神樂院環境清幽，綠樹濃蔭。我們靜靜地四周參觀，走過石橋，到達肅穆的教堂，Mark被門前神態自若的塑像所吸引，我則在橋上欣賞淙淙流水和飛舞中的蝴蝶。我們發現在聖母亭公園斜對面的池塘有黑影在游弋，看真些原來是數條大魚。離開了神樂院，續往下走，兩旁大樹懸掛了十字架的「苦路牌」，別具特色。
步行數分鐘後，轉入左方的分岔小路，破爛的指示牌寫著稔樹灣。小路傍海而建，繞過村屋，愉景灣的高樓呈現眼前。從眼前的陋屋菜田至遠處的大型屋苑，仿似從簡樸邁向繁華。到了稔樹灣，看見遊人悠閒地釣魚，也有村民乘小艇用木棍拍打海面捕魚。
穿過蕉林便到了愉景灣。我們在廣場餐廳午膳後，漫步沙幼遼闊的沙灘，除了小孩在嬉水堆沙外，還有長腳蟹隨意奔馳。乘船離開時已近黃昏，盡興而歸。

For a 6 day old baby? The little one can hardly nibble. Those tasty cookies probably would end up either in the stomachs of the parents or in the refrigerator.
Looks like Pei Ling can certainly bake.

150g/ 5 oz/ 1 1/4 plain (all-purpose) flour
7.5 ml/ 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
5 ml/ 1 tsp ground cinnamon
50g/ 2 oz/ 1/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature, diced
50g/ 2 oz/ 1/4 cup demerara (raw) sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
120 ml/ 4 fl oz/ 1/2 cup sour cream
90g/ 3 1/2 oz/ 1 cup fresh blueberries OR fresh cranberries
50g/ 2 oz/ 1/2 cup semi-dried cranberries OR chopped preserved stem ginger

1. Preheat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas 5. Line 2 baking sheets with baking parchment. Sift together the flour, baking powder and cinnamon into a large mixing bowl. Add the diced butter and rub in with your fingers until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Stir in the demerara sugar.
2. Add the sour cream, blueberries and cranberries and stir until just combined. Spoon ten mounds of the mixture, spaced well apart, on to the prepared baking sheets. Sprinkle with the extra demerara sugar and bake for about 20 min or until golden and firm in the centre. Serve warm. ▲ Collapse
