I need to insert a space between every chinese character in a long text in Winword.

Do you know of any software or macro that would do that automatically?

Thank You

Raffaella

Try NJSTAR Communicator Jul 5, 2002

There is a program that can do this. It is called NJSTAR (南极星) Communicator. This program includes an independant small program called Universal Code Convernter that can convert codes between 简体中文、繁体中文、日文和韩文。

When you do the conversion, there is a check box called \"Add Space\" or \"Delete Space\" which let you add or delete a space after each Chinese character.

When you do the conversion, there is a check box called \"Add Space\" or \"Delete Space\" which let you add or delete a space after each Chinese character.

However, if you just want to add space without converting from 繁体 to 简体 or vice versa, you can set the source code and the target code to be the same but check the Add Space check box. This way you can add space without changing the encoding.

I used this program several years ago. The link is given below:

We developed a small VB program to do that Jul 18, 2002

One of our software engineers developed a small VB progame to add space between Chinese characters.

Your machine needs to have VB installed to run the program.

If you still need it, write to me at [email protected].
