对了，要求屏幕不刺眼，适合长时间看。
请顺便提一下你们装的是什么操作系统。

我之前用IBM x31，现在用x200，键盘感觉都不错。而且整机轻便，易于携带出门。

我家用的是东芝笔记本，但前些天逛电脑商场，发现联想ThinkPad的款式做得相当不错，尤其是键盘看上去和按起来特别舒服，价格也不贵，四五千左右。你自己先比较一下吧。等心里有了初步好感的几款，再上网找一下评价，再作决定。
尽量选择大品牌的，比较可靠。
至于操作系统用Win 7还是Windows XP，就看你的习惯了。

My suggestion is to watch or read up on some CNET editor's reviews. Those guys stay on top of the latest development in electronic gadgets. You can't go too wrong following their advice, since it's their job to test and evaluate new technology products.

I realize a MacBook is probably out of the question, because of the lack of compatible CAT software. For me it's a no-brainer since I don't have that requirement.

p.s., I always take a look at some customer reviews before I place an order on a product. I'm fine with the product as long as the majority feedback is positive. You seldom get 100% customer satisfaction, since there are always a few oddballs out there who have something to complain about. However, I would still recommend reading the pros and cons listed in the user feedback. Make sure that the cons are something you can live with.

The performance of a ThinkPad is still very reliable. It's the laptop I'm most familiar with; so back in March I was still thinking of getting a new ThinkPad until it dawned on me to give the iMac a try.

Some people complain about its old-fashioned clunky appearance, which is probably justified to some extent. But to get the job done, you really don't need something with a snazzy exterior.

Actually, if you don't need to run the Mac OS and Windows concurrently, Boot Camp would suffice. Boot Camp Assistant is an application program that comes with Mac OS X. It helps install Microsoft Windows on a Mac.

acer比较经济实惠。我用的是 acer aspire 4741G i5 的机器，显卡也不错，缺点是声音太小，喇叭声音质量跟10块钱的收音机差不多。有点丑，键盘较差。

这款机子（影音游戏版）的性价比还不错。我用了差不多3年了，返修率为零。机子的显卡比较高端，翻译中看看电影或打打游戏什么的，很享受。机子外形很薄，带小键盘，键盘用起来也很舒服。屏幕也够大，以较大字体完整显示几个文档没问题，翻译起来眼睛一点也不吃力。散热很好，玩大型游戏20多个小时不会死机，风扇一点声音都没有。 但是如果每天要携带上下班的话可能会有些累，这款机子不是那种小巧玲珑型的。

我在06年时买的T60－2007CB7，用到现在，还非常好用。最关键是它配的较高清的屏幕1400X1050，看着极其舒服，显示字符、图像时明显比差些的显示器圆润流畅，显示内容也多。

翻译时显示内容太少也不方便，还需要去滚动屏幕。

现在很多机器比较便宜，主要是显示屏降格了。

在网上看了看，ThinkPad T420系列基本上是8000-10000上下。电子产品降价很快的，再密切跟踪一下。各位朋友有用得好的机子，请继续推荐。谢谢了！

推荐选不超过五千的 i5 本。与其购买8000-10000的本子，不如先用5000元买台 i5 机器用着（用来进行翻译工作已经足足地够了，甚至玩不是太大型游戏都已经可以），两或三年之后再花 5000 元买台届时的中端主流机型。

我推荐 Acer 5750G i5 本。
