Is there any way to transfer Russian Illustrator 10 file form PC to Mac?

If I have a file typed on PC can I save it the way it can be opened on Mac without converting fonts to outlines? Are there any cross platform fonts or file-transfer techniques?

we have tried to use Windows Uncode True Type fonts Oct 3, 2002

our client says it worked well. Fonts worked well on Mac

I have no direct experience with Russian files.

However the Illustrator native file format is compatible across platforms.

What you need to ensure is that the fonts you used on the PC are also available in Mac version and installed in the receiving Mac computer.
