Deleting forum postings

Can anyone tell me how to delete a forum posting (one\'s own, of course) completely?

There is a button for \"Edit/Delete\" and I can delete the text using this but it still leaves a blank \"skeleton\" posting with my name beside it. How do I get rid of this too?

I\'d like to know to as I had the same problem last week, though it was amusing to see how many people tried to view my \"mystery message\"!

I think only forum moderators may delete a posting entirely. You can find \"who\'s who\" in Forum Home.

A while ago someone asked me to delete her posting and I tried to do it, but I was not able to. It would be nice to know how to do it, just in case.

Well, I guess, you can just put a smiling face (as a title and a message body) instead of words (just kidding.)

That is how it is set up now.

I will look into changing it.
