I've now done some further tests with the usual suspects. At the moment I think that Transit's implementation of the MIF filter and its representation of imported files in the translation editor is superior.
Especially the representation of document variables (blue, full text). It's only a pity that when you translate these Transit files in other CAT tools, the advantages of the superior representation are lost.
How "popular" is MIF nowadays, anyway?
