What word count tools are available?

I received a request for a big project for translation of a whole website and the customer asks me to analyze the files in SDL Trados Studio and then give him a quotation. But when I created a project in Studio and added the files and folders I received the error message that 20 of the files contain other language than English. So these can not be analyzed in Studio.

In AnyCount trial version I am limited to 10 files only.

I just need a simple, reliable wordcount software that can handle a mix of 2 languages in HTML files.

Maybe freebudget or webbudget would work for you. Otherwise CountAnything should do the trick.

OmegaT won’t care. It will just count the source contents.
