Hi, I guess this is something very basic. I would like to import an Excel file of strings (source language in one column, target language in the next column) in my TM. What shall I do? Thanks in advance. Laura

and follow instruction.... Seems complicated but it's easy once you've done it. Don't forget one thing: in your TM if the language is with a capital E and you put in the first column in your excel document.... it won't work. http://support.trados.com/view.asp?cntID=827

Hi Laura, there is a great macro available for free at Cat_convert http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cat_conv/ Once you have downloaded it you only need to open your file with this macro and choose Export to TWB memory from the Tools menu in Excel.

T-Window / WinAlign
Jul 7, 2003
Hello,
two possibilities:
1. Use T-Window to create a multiterm import file
2. Save source and target text in two winword files and use winalign to create a translation memory import file.
