Hello everyone,
part of the Proz Plus membership package is one year's free license to CafeTran. I have downloaded CafeTran to my computer but now I'm stuck as to how to activate the license.
Can anyone help?

Have you tried enabling "ProZ.com services" under "Other resources and services" in the Dashboard (the first page that appears when you open CafeTran)?

Keep this resource enabled to ensure your ProZ Plus licence is recognized. This also means you need to be connected to Internet when you launch CafeTran, so that your licence can be verified.

... when I do what the video shows me. Anyone has an idea of how to get it to work. I have tried both while being logged out and in of proz in my browser, but I get the same result.
Wonder if anyone can help?

Free CafeTrans membership for plus members for only one year? Oct 1, 2019

Hi folks.

I purchased a multi-year license membership here at Proz and I had the idea CafeTrans would be free for the plus members, I now have a year with it and I am in doubt if it will continue free while I have the plus membership with Proz or if, as I read in a previous post, at the end of the year I will have to invest in the program.

As long as you have an active ProZ Plus membership (and unless there is a change in the ProZ Plus features), you will able to access the licensed (full) version with no additional charge.

If you stop being a ProZ Plus member, your best bet for a full perpetual license (with three years of support and free updates/upgrades) is the Translator Group Buy here on ProZ. There is currently one going on for CafeTran: ... See more
