What is the implication of the HIPAA laws on data protection for individual translators who translate medical files? Should the Business Associate Agreement be signed? What safeguards are required for this?
What about EU Standard Contractual Clauses (for the Transfer of Personal Data Outside the EAA). What responsibilities does the translator have with regard to this.
