I couldn't agree more, Claudette! I rarely start work before 11am and often work into the night, because this suits my body rhythms better. With about 30 clients repeatedly coming back to me, and with far more work offered than I can reasonably take on, I now ignore any requests to undergo convoluted registration procedures with unknown agencies. Mr Almaghary presumably would classify me as a poor translator, however I know otherwise, because a number of agencies have told me that their end clients specifically request me to do their jobs, while others will alter deadlines that initially were stated as being fixed in order to suit my schedules.

I believe that Mr Almaghary will tend to get the less experienced and less in demand translators, who are willing to go through all the hassle imposed by his agency, because they are desperate for work.
