Can anybody share their experience of passing the State Department translation test? I am particularly interested in what happened afterwards, if anything.

I was invited to take it, but declined because I would have had to pay for my own ticket to DC for the test. At the time, I already had sufficient work in the pipeline and didn't think the benefit would outweigh the cost, so I chose not to take it.
