Hi all,
I have a .txt file containing the contents like below:

ID_ef = "Billing Double Time"
ID_fe = "Billing Due on 10th of Month"
ID_we = "Billing Due on 15th of Month"
ID_gg = "Billing Due on 20th of Month"

Hi all,
I have a .txt file containing the contents like below:

ID_ef = "Billing Double Time"
ID_fe = "Billing Due on 10th of Month"
ID_we = "Billing Due on 15th of Month"
ID_gg = "Billing Due on 20th of Month"
ID_hh = "Billing Due on 25th of Month"

Before I use catalyst to translate this .txt file, I want to define a ezParse rule for this .txt file. I can define the string to be translated between the quotes successfully. But I fail to define the context rule which should define the ID like ID_ef or ID_we. Although I have tried many methods to define the context rules, I cannot make the IDs displayed in the preview. Hope anyone can do me a favor to solve this ezParse rule definition problem. Thank you.

How to parse string ID's Feb 4, 2008

Hi,

To identify an ID in ezparse, you have to surround it in these () brackets.

For sample text you want to parse I would use this as the start tag:

(ID_[a-zA-Z]+) = "

And this as the end tag:

"

Here is a link to an FAQ on ezparse ->
(ID_[a-zA-Z]+) = "

And this as the end tag:

"

Here is just another way which is suitable to more cases. FYI
Start tag: ^([^=]+)=\s"
End tag: "
