Hello,

A client of ours has recently sent us some TTKs to translate that have been prepared with a 64-bit version of Catalyst 10. A number of the linguists that we work with have 32-bit versions of Windows installed and are therefore working with 32-bit versions of Catalyst.

A client of ours has recently sent us some TTKs to translate that have been prepared with a 64-bit version of Catalyst 10. A number of the linguists that we work with have 32-bit versions of Windows installed and are therefore working with 32-bit versions of Catalyst.

When they try to open these files they get a message that says "This TTK contains 64-bit Microsoft .NET Framework assemblies and cannot be opened. You must be using a 64-bit Catalyst build to open this file."

My question is: is there any workaround that would enable someone to work on a TTK such as this without having to upgrade to a 64-bit version of Windows first?

64 bit . Net dll need 64 bit . Net Framework Jan 22, 2014

Hi Russell,

Unfortunately, you will need a 64 bit operation system to work with 64 bit .Net files. These files require the 64 bit .Net Framework to be installed so they can be loaded, unpacked and rendered correctly.
