John and I co-translated a 250+ page mystery novel from French to English for a major French publishing company based in Paris. The work was completed in less than 6 weeks in August and September 2014, a remarkable amount of work in such a short time. The quality of John's work is outstanding: he is an accomplished writer in English and a skilled translator from French, attentive to detail. His translation is exceptional: idiomatic and true to the French – he transformed the piece into a smooth read that keeps readers on the edge of their seat from beginning to end.
