What opportunities does the expansion of the European Union hold for the translation and interpreting markets?
In the focused discussion we would like to explore threats and opportunities resulting from EU enlargement for translators and interpreters in both „old” and „new” Member States. What is the impact? What kind of future developments we should expect? And most importantly, how we can best benefit from it?

He represents a Latvian Translation Agency AM 1, which entered the translation market in 1997. According to him, since accession to EU, in regard to countries outside Baltics, they are more "Insourcers" :), than "Outsourcers"- as they barely can cope with translation orders into Baltic languages.
