*Julian Müller, Director of Localization at Meta — Feb 2022

It was truly a pleasure having Nicole on the team - a great team player, highly competent and always willing to speak up and help out. She combines linguistic skills with partnership and program building. I hope we'll get to work together again down the line!

*Chiara Pacella, Language Management Lead at Meta — Jan 2022

Nicole is a motivated, self-driven localization professional with great linguistic skills and unique work ethics. I had the pleasure to work with Nicole at Meta for the entire time she was at the company, and she never failed to impress and inspire. On top of the qualities mentioned above, Nicole is highly organized, and she has a vision for everything that she does. Her actions are always driven by logic and strategical thinking. Nicole does not merely execute, she is a problem solver who plans, analyzes, looks for metrics to measure the impact of what she is doing, both as a leader and as a contributor.
She understands the business needs and is very flexible in adapting to new projects or shifting priorities based on those.
At a personal level, she is also extremely empathetic, supportive and inspiring for those around her. She is the teammate that everybody wants to have.

*Jenna Brinning, Director of Internationalization at Tumblr — Jan 2020

Nicole is a resilient self-starter who embraces challenges. After recruiting her for my team at Tumblr in November 2011, she worked closely with me on building and rolling out our first Brazilian Portuguese user interface, and I had the pleasure of working with her up until her departure for Google in 2014. During her tenure on my team, Nicole laid the groundwork for our Brazilian help center, web and mobile interfaces, assured quality, curated Brazilian user content, and filled our Brazilian staff blog with her translations and transcreations. Much of her work and spirt still lives on today in Tumblr's Brazilian iterations and I would happily work with Nicole anytime again in the future.

*Benjamin Dorvel, Content Strategist at Google — March 2019

Over the last 2 years, I've had the privilege to work with Nicole in the Google Assistant Personality team. On paper, her role was lead persona designer and content strategist for the Brazilian Google Assistant, but she's done so much more. Most prominently, she was site lead for my London-based team and trained, mentored, and managed creative writers. We've also collaborated on several tricky, open-ended projects and I've been particularly impressed with her project management skills. Nicole is just great at identifying processes that could be streamlined, scoping the project, and laying out a strategy to execute on the deliverables. But I'd be remiss if I didn't highlight one leadership skill that gives her an advantage over many people: Nicole knows how to give feedback or push back in a constructive and friendly way.

*Matt Hartley, Head of Pixel Customer Care at Google — June 2016

Nicole has shown strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to drive innovative solutions as the founding member of the International Content Strategist team. She developed and documented best practices for editorial review of international help center content, and then applied them to drive our content strategy for Brazilian Portuguese support content. She then developed training materials and is now scaling her impact by training multiple team members across languages and geographies.

I'm impressed by several aspects of how Nicole works. FIrst, she constantly challenges the status quo and isn't afraid to offer a differing opinion. This has led to many changes (improvements) from my initial plans. Second, Nicole is dependable. Even as a sole team member working in Dublin with a remote manager, she diligently completed all her work despite challenges and delays that arose which requierd her to quickly adapt. Finally, and most importantly, Nicole is a phenomenal team player who drives collaboration. She has worked with stakeholders spanning North/South America, Europe, and Asia, including peers, internal partners, external vendors, and senior management. Everyone always has great things to say about Nicole, which is a testament to the way she builds personal relationships and offers constructive ideas to push the team forward.

*Carla Matos, Independent Translation Outsourcer
Former Project Manager at All Traduções — 2012

My partnership with Nicole began in January 2010, using English <> Brazilian Portuguese translation and proofreading services, which are always carried out with the highest degree of quality and promptness.

*Adriana Francisco, Managing Partner at Hí-fen Translation Solutions — 2009

Ms Rodrigues has collaborated with hi-fen translation solutions on a number of English into Portuguese translation and revision projects, all to a very high standard. Ms Rodrigues has always been highly conscientious, professional and a pleasure to work with. I would have no hesitations in recommending her services.
Yours faithfully,
