V. PERFORMANCE SUMMARY
Luisa Ramos is the office translator and interpreter for hearing proceedings and document translations in the Southern Field Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA). She utilizes her Spanish language skills in providing operational support to seventeen Administrative Law Judge Teams. Her duties include the review of Spanish language medical documents, billing information, and clinical notes, and ultimately the translation of the pertinent procedural and medical evidence needed for the adjudication of appeals. In addition, she conducted the review and analysis of documents which are critical to the adjudication of Puerto Rico cases. Her initiative has streamlined the processing of cases on the mega team that concentrates on the Puerto Rico cases. Luisa responds to all team requests for assistance with a can-do attitude that all of her customers rely on. She works with the teams and also independently to determine solutions to issues. Luisa’s written and spoken communications are always respectful, even when communicating with clients with whom she has worked for years.
