We believe in teamwork to spot and avoid mistakes.

Every job which comes in is first checked for completeness and format. If necessary, we repair the format or report missing information/instructions/files.

At the same time, we enter deliverables and deadlines in our online platform. So wherever we are, a colleague will be able to trace work progress.

We spellcheck incoming files. Sometimes unnecessary, but we want to be on the safe side. We compare the wordcount and calculate the time needed to complete the job.

Next, we create a translation project, do an automatic pre-translation, and start translating. When finished, we check numbers and spelling inside the CAT system. This job is done by the translator himself.

We use the LSP's preferred CAT system for translation. SDL Trados Workbench has been complemented by MemoQ, Crowdin, memsource, and XTM to deliver in the required format.

Finally, the translator does an export, prints each file, and checks the hard copy. The editor prints the finalized file again and checks the final version 100% in terms of technical correctness, style, and completeness.

Corrections are discussed with and implemented by the translator.
Then the translator sends off his translation to the client.

This means, in most cases there are only 2 people who deal with your text: the translator and the editor. This keeps overhead costs low and speeds up delivery.
