Depois de dez anos atuando como professora das línguas inglesa e portuguesa, em 2008, comecei minha carreira como tradutora em empresa de petróleo e gás, onde me especializei na tradução de documentos das áreas administrativa e comercial e de documentos técnicos de engenharia, construção industrial e petróleo e gás.
Hoje, tradutora freelance, presto serviços para agências internacionais de tradução e para clientes diretos. Também atuo nas áreas financeira, nutricional, de TI, entre outras.
Sou graduada em Letras (português-inglês) e mestre em Linguística pela UFRJ, pós-graduada em Gestão de Recursos Humanos pela Estácio de Sá e com formação em Tradução pelo Curso Brasillis.
After ten years as an English and Portuguese teacher, I started working as a translator, in 2008, in an oil & gas company, where I became an expert in translating administrative and commercial documents besides technical ones from engineering, industrial construction and oil & gas areas.
Today, I am a freelance translator providing services to international translation agencies and to direct clients, working also with financial, nutritional and IT areas, among others.
I hold a BA in Languages (Portuguese-English) and an MA in Linguistics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a Post-Graduation degree in Human Resource Management from Estacio de Sa and a Translator Certificate from Curso Brasillis.
